FieldsIQ Foundation ("we," "us," or "our") is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to AI education, digital literacy, and adaptive learning tools. We operate the website located at fieldsiq.org (the "Site") and our family of educational and troubleshooting mobile applications, including but not limited to K12PRO and NursePRO (collectively, the "Services").

As a non-profit educational entity, we minimize data collection to only what is strictly necessary to provide and improve our adaptive reasoning tools.

Performance and Usage Data: To power our adaptive reasoning engines and tracking metrics, our Services log user performance data, including quiz results, reasoning paths, structural diagram interactions, error logs, and learning progress over time.
Device and Technical Information: We automatically collect standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, device types, operating systems, app version identifiers, and crash diagnostics to maintain security and optimize cloud server performance.
2. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Protecting the privacy of young learners using K12PRO is our highest priority. Our practices are strictly compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
No Personal Data Collection for Minors: We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or retain personal information (such as names, emails, or phone numbers) from children under the age of 13.
Anonymous Learning States: Accounts created for minors under the K12PRO framework utilize anonymous identifiers to track learning progress, formulas mastered, and reasoning metrics.
Parental Rights: Parents or legal guardians have the right to review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's anonymous performance data by contacting us at privacy@fieldsiq.org.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information purely for educational and technical optimization purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with commercial third parties.
- To deliver, personalize, and improve our adaptive learning paths and problem-solving engines.
- To maintain user states, track learning histories, and sync cross-platform metrics via our cloud infrastructure.
- To monitor app stability, fix runtime errors, and optimize multi-model AI routing protocols.
- To fulfill our compliance obligations as a 501(c)(3) organization.

We only share data with trusted third-party cloud service providers required to host and secure our infrastructure:
Cloud Infrastructure: We utilize industry-standard, secure cloud environments (such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform) to process data, render LaTeX formulas, and run secure JSON schema validations.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, the public, or the FieldsIQ Foundation.

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard user data. All data transfers across our web endpoints, browser extensions, and mobile apps are strictly encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. App Store & Third-Party Platforms
Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platform stores may independently collect analytics and hardware data governed by their respective privacy policies. Our Services do not integrate third-party ad networks, commercial trackers, or unauthorized data brokers.
